May Meeting

Meeting began at 6:05.
Treasurer's report:  We have the same amount as last month.
Calendars have not been ordered yet.  They are $25 each.  Paris, Rob, KJ, Justin, and Robin have all paid for calendars.
Loren will get the calendars ordered and they should be in by Friday.
Paris can get dirt for us, he just has to get permission to go get it & we just need to get ahold of someone to haul it to the track.
Jacob is trying to get a 16ft disc from Lathrop for the Mud Bog.
Bud is trying to get ahold of someone about the portable stands in Douglas.  He will get ahold of someone at the Fairgrounds here in Casper to see if they are portable and if they rent them out.
September 11th is the cleanup out at Poison Spider.  2 weekends after that is Last Blast.
The Trailheaders in Gillette is going four wheeling in the Black Hills on May 15th at Camp 5.
Everyone needs to be trying to get sponsors for our Mud Bog in August!!!!  We need sponsors!!!

July Meeting

Meeting began at 6:10.
Bud hosted this month's meeting per Loren's request.
Loren needs to know who will be helping the friday before the Mud Bog.  So far Paris, Bud, Rob, Robin, (of course) Dave & Loren will be helping.
Per Paris, We have the dirt for up at the track, we just need to get it hauled up there.  We need to let Paris know when we can do this.  Paris will be gone from July 20th to August 9th. 
We need more sponsors!!!!!
Rob has 1 sponsor so far.
Per Loren we will not be doing the side by side racing at the Mud Bog.
It was asked by the attending members if we had insurance or equipment reserved for the Mud Bog.
Per Paris's request next month's meeting will be held on August 9th.  We will need all members to attend this meeting as it is getting closer to the Mud Bog.
Parade Day is July 13th.  Per Bud, we have our placement in the parade.  If you need more information on this please contact Bud.

August Meeting

Meeting began at 6:00.
We have 3 weeks til the Mud Bog!!!
We need as much help from EVERYONE as possible!!!
We need more sponsors!!  There are 47 fliers left - 5 will be sent with each member to hang up somewhere.  When you are out & need more come see Dave or Loren, but you better bring money from sponsors!
High Country Graphics made the fliers as their sponsorship.  Sponsors can give gifts if they don't want to give money.  You have 1 week to get sponsors so Dave can make the banners!
Saturday the 21st we will be putting together the banners & trophies - We expect as many members at The Doorman Shop as possible!!  We will all meet at 10am & have lunch at the Sandbar at 1.  Everyone is to pay for their own lunch!
Bid's Place is doing the catering for the Mud Bog.  Coke is providing beverages as their sponsor.
KTED is doing radio advertising for us for the Mud Bog for $300 & throwing in their Gillette station as their sponsor.  Dave is going to talk to 96.7 and see if they will cut us a break on advertising as well.  He will also try & get the Mud Bog announced on a country station so we can get the word out about it.
Equipment Rentals is providing the loader and Precision builders is providing a skidster.  We still need a backhoe or trachoe. 
We are going to cut a hole in the fence & set the small bleachers on that side by the starting line for the drivers & people who have pit passes.  Bud is working on getting more bleachers. 
We need volunteers to fill more positions to help at the Mud Bog!! 
Everything will be finalized on the 21st!!
Dave & Loren mentioned that we should get a plastic hose to run across the track since the fire hoses have holes in them.
Dave asked if we wanted to do more t-shirts.  It was agreed on that we do.  We need to have our order in by the 20th, so if you want jackets or shirts printed up you can bring them by to Dave or Loren.
Loren told everyone about the Wanna Rock poker run on Sept. 25th.  It will start at 9:30 at Poison Spider Off Road Park. The entry fee will be $40 & you get a shirt or $30 without a shirt.  There will be 5 courses.  $5 will buy you an extra card.  There will be 2 attempts per obstacle.  If you want more information please contact Loren.
Dave stated that if everyone bails at the Mud Bog, then The Doorman will get paid back everything they have put into the club & be done with it!!
