well all i'm the new guy and am coming from a club that has a great relation with the BLM. so i'm woundering what you guys are doing to work with them and to help keep your trails open and build new ones.

we have a trail patrol program here that is working for us very well. we have been able to watch our curent trails and stop the issues with the partyres! we have even been able to start a new trail in an area that has not been used at all but is open. we have cought a rancher out there tearing up the land to get watter out to his cattel! this dude just lost his truck and a back hoe for this action and is still looking at a 10k fine and jail time! all this for digging up the area with out a permit. we have been doing clean ups here that the BLM provides dumpsters for and they have givin us signs for adopting the area we use to stage for our trail runs!

so what do you guys have going on what are your plans and ideas to help keep your areas open an clean?

all right as i will be coming up that way some this is something that i will help with a lot. we have a very go modle to work with from here so i have a good start on what we can do. one thing for sure is we got to get into the blm office and meet with the rep for the area's. this will get the ball rolling. find out where they need clean ups! this is the first thing to do. then find out where they are having issues and start a trail patrol. this will give you the chance to wheel and watch a problume area for them. this will help them to stop the dumpimg and party crowd etc. i will get a copy of the paper work we ues when we go out and do our patrols.find an area near you that u use that has issues and adopt it. these area the things that we are doing here and it is working great the BLM office here is very happy with what we are doing.

i am more than happy to help as you guys will be the club nearest as far as i know! and i would like to see multi club inter club work to keep our trail open as there is more strength in numbers! there is one thing you all should know the hammers in cali are under threat of being closed! all the club and forums are not contacing the right folks about it. the marriens are the ones that want the area and no one is telling them how the feel about it! so help out even when you might not ever got there every bit helps!
